For this project, I wanted to showcase sports (with an emphasis on running) in a light fashion, one that tells the viewer how practicing sports can be rather than what it usually is. Keeping in line with this thinking, I tried to incorporate concepts of freedom, nature, light, and movement with the photography choice, as well as a modern take on an industry that so often lacks design finesse.

Both the blue and the orange were chosen for their resemblance to a running track. The concept here is that we use the track as the main logo and iconography, but subvert expectations by showing what other modalities of running can be achieved with Sans Dossard coaching.
The off-white and off-black work to cement the subversion of this concept, with the off-white resembling dust and the off-black resembling the green from the outdoors, giving us the duality of running, which can be both competitive and free.

The main logo was achieved using the Gilroy font, and I paired it with Inter, a very similar sans-serif font, but they complement each other and work to create a well-established hierarchy that transmits a modern approach to sports coaching.
